From a Mycenaean cup of the 14th century B.C., through Villanovan urns, Etruscan bucchero, Corinthian, black-figure, red-figure, Campanian, Apulian, and Sicilian of the 3rd through 1st century B.C., here is a description and illustration of approximately sixty-five ancient Greek vases in the Elvehjem collection along with essays about the history of vase production and the use of the vase.
