From the Paris Conservatoire (1894–2001)

Marc Vallon performs compositions from the Paris Conservatoire

Bassoonist Marc Vallon, who received his musical education at the Paris Conservatoire, performs compositions chosen from the nearly one hundred years of the Conservatoire’s annual “Concours.” Morceaux de Concours includes works by Eugène Bourdeau, Camille Saint-Saëns, René Duclos, Tony Aubin, and Ida Gotkovsky.

Marc Vallon is professor of bassoon, Ina Selvelieva is a pianist, and Todd Hammes is a PhD student in composition and percussion, all at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. Karen Beth Atz is artist-in-residence at the University of Wisconsin–Madison and principal harpist for the Madison Symphony Orchestra. Vincent Fuh is a pianist for Oakwood Chamber Players, Opera for the Young, Madisalsa, and El Clan Destino.
