The Darkness We Carry The Drama of the Holocaust Robert Skloot Offering an informed critical approach, Robert Skloot discusses more than two dozen plays and one film that deal with the Holocaust. It was the first full study of its kind. Robert Skloot is professor in the Department of Theater and Drama and in the Center for Jewish Studies at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. He is the author of the play If the Whole Body Dies: Raphael Lemkin and the Treaty Against Genocide. He is also the author of The Darkness We Carry: The Drama of the Holocaust and editor of The Theatre of the Holocaust, Volume 1 and Volume 2, and The Theatre of Genocide all published by the University of Wisconsin Press.
